I. General Metal oxide arresters are currently the most advanced protective electrical appliances for limiting over voltages. They are widely used in power generation, transmission and transformation, and power distribution systems to protect the insulation of electrical equipment from overvoltage damage. The organic enclosure metal oxide arrester is a scientific research result combining organic insulating materials and the technical advantages of the traditional porcelain-sheathed metal oxide arrester. It not only has the advantages of porcelain-sheathed metal oxide arresters, but also has good electrical insulation properties and dielectric High strength, anti-leakage, anti-electric corrosion, heat resistance, cold resistance, aging resistance, explosion-proof, water repellency, good sealing performance and other advantages.
2. Application. a) Suitable for indoor and outdoor; b) Ambient temperature -40℃~+40℃; c) The altitude does not exceed 3000m for Composite type. (the porcelain sleeve type does not exceed 1000m); d) The power frequency is not less than 48 Hz and not more than 62 Hz; e) The long-term power frequency voltage applied between the terminals of the arrester does not exceed the continuous operating voltage of the arrester; f) Areas with earthquake intensity 8 degrees and below; g) The maximum wind speed does not exceed 35m/s.
3. Product model description
According to JB/T 8459-1996 "Method for Compiling Lightning Arrester Product Model", the description of the metal oxide arrester product model is as follows: Product type: Y—indicating porcelain sleeve type metal oxide arrester YH (HY)—Metal oxide arrester with organic coat Structural features: W—indicating no gap C—indicating series gap Use place: S—represents power distribution type Z—represents power station type
R—represents shunt compensation capacitor D—for motors, T—for electrified railways, X—for line type Additional features: W—indicating anti-pollution type G—indicating high prototype TH—indicating wet tropics DL—represents cable-type arrester (advantages: the product adopts a fully sealed structure, has a large creepage distance, and can be applied to heavily polluted places)
